Lighthouse Spotting 👀

Coach Ian Persini (State Carnival Co-Convenor), Club Captain and current Under 15’s Phoenix Hurford (Assistant Referee) and former player Jayla Larkin (Referee) are at Noosa over the next three days involved in the 16-18 Years Girls Rugby 7’s State Championships.

Current Under 16 Girls Madeleine Andrew (Captain/Player) is also representing the Metropolitan East team at the Championships.

Oceania Rugby has officially launched the Whistles and Whiteboards Mana Moana Mentorship Programme, a new initiative designed to support the development of women coaches and match officials across the Pacific region.

The programme brings together emerging women leaders involved in rugby coaching and refereeing who will take part in a structured mentorship experience aimed at strengthening their technical skills, confidence and leadership within the game.

Club President and Coach Jessica Broadhurst is one of 22 participants selected from across Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga and New Zealand 🤩
