🏏 TERM 3 CRICKET BLAST REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN 🏏

Caloundra Cricket Club is excited to welcome kids back for another term of Cricket Blast at Roy Henzell Oval!

Whether your child is picking up a bat for the very first time or coming back for another season of fun with mates, Cricket Blast is the perfect way to learn the game in a relaxed and energetic environment.

Join in the fun with our coaches Harry and Mace as they help kids build confidence, learn new skills and most importantly have a blast every Friday afternoon.

🕔 Fridays from 5pm to 6pm

Whether you’re a player, parent, volunteer, sponsor, or supporter of the club, this is a great opportunity to come along, introduce yourself, hear Brett’s vision for the season ahead, and catch up with the cricket community.

🏏 WELCOME TO THE LIGHTHOUSES, BRETT MORTIMER! 🏏

The Caloundra Cricket Club is thrilled to announce the appointment of Brett Mortimer (pictured left) as our new Senior Head Coach!

Brett brings a wealth of experience to the club, having been a formidable fast bowler in Brisbane Premier Cricket with Sandgate-Redcliffe, before spending many seasons as a highly respected coach at South Brisbane and most recently Northern Suburbs District Cricket Club.

Brett will lead the club at training sessions and support our 1st division team on Saturdays.

“I’m looking forward to further developing the talent at Caloundra and help them play finals next year. I also want to help further connect the community to this great club,” said Brett. “Caloundra has a lot of talented young players and I’m excited to see where this group can go.”

Director of Cricket Luke Henderson (pictured right) is excited about the appointment: “Brett is a highly respected coach and this appointment further enhances the support we are giving the players to be the best that they can be. Great clubs have great people, Brett is exactly what we are looking for in a coach.”

We have been hard at work on the ETC this off-season with some much needed repairs to the walls. These panels have been placed all around the centre and previous sponsors have been taken down.
Our indoor training centre is looking a lot neater.
