🌟 BUSINESS OF THE YEAR 🌟

Last night, Miss Alicia and Miss Janelle attended the Caloundra Community Awards, where Sunshine Coast Performing Arts College had been recognised as a finalist in the Business of the Year category.

We were so honoured to stand alongside some truly incredible local businesses and hear about the amazing things they have achieved within our community.

But nothing could have prepared us for the feeling of hearing Sunshine Coast Performing Arts College called out as the winner and being named ‘Business of the Year’ 🥹🏆

Words honestly cannot describe it.

A massive THANK YOU to Kendall Hatcher MP, her team and all of the incredible sponsors for putting on such a wonderful event, and for creating a platform that celebrates and shines a light on the businesses and people making a difference in our community.

The last 11 years have been an incredible journey. We’ve navigated so many hurdles along the way — a global pandemic, a cost-of-living crisis, the ever-changing challenges of running a small business — and there have certainly been moments where we’ve had to dig deep and keep going.

So, to have members of our community pull us aside afterwards and tell us how well deserved this win was, and that our resilience has been inspiring, was incredibly rewarding to hear.

We have worked so, so hard. We have poured our hearts into this studio, our students and our community, and to have that hard work publicly recognised is just… magic. ✨

And of course, we would not be here without our incredible team. Our teachers are the absolute backbone of our business. We pride ourselves on ensuring that every teacher who has access to our students is not only qualified and exceptional in their field, but also genuinely cares about each and every child they teach. Our students are little humans, not numbers. The dedication our teachers bring to every single class is unmatched, and we are so incredibly proud of the team we have built.

To our students & families… thank you for filling our studio with so much joy, trusting us with your children and supporting us year after year.

And to our wider community… thank you for believing in us, cheering us on and recognising what we do.

NEW UNIFORM ALERT! 🔥

We are so excited to have released a new addition to our uniform collection! Our Brand New Acrotards can be worn to all classes (except ballet - leotards required for this class).
 
We have a full size run in store for you to try on, with orders able to be placed up until close of business on Monday the 14th of September. Orders placed by this time will ensure a Term 4 Delivery. You can pop in any day before 5.30pm to try these on. 
 
Child Size - $70
Adult Size - $75

This Thursday is R U OK day and it’s got our dancers thinking a bit extra about different ways to spread some positivity and help brighten the days of others. We wanted to share what some of our dancers had to say 🌻
