Spiders Boxing Club Inc Spiders Boxing Club is a not-for-profit organisation that is open to all ages who want to get fit, get strong, learn boxing or just have fun!

Our Boxers have the opportunity to compete in tournaments all over Australia and can qualify for both the Commonwealth and Olympic games. Our Coaches - Luke and Jason - are accredited with Boxing Australia. Luke specialises in technique training and Jason is a Masters Games Gold Medalist. All Executive Committee members, Coaches and Administration staff hold current 'Blue Cards' and are registered

with the Queensland Government. Spiders Boxing also offers a chance for boxers to become qualified boxing coaches, judges and referees and the Club is affiliated with Boxing Queensland.

🕷🥊 CLUB NOTICE – TEMPORARY CLOSURE - Please mark on your calendar 🥊🕷

Spiders Boxing Club will be closed from Monday 17th August through to Friday 21st August as our coaches and athletes travel to compete at the Australian National Golden Gloves Championships.

This is one of Australia's premier amateur boxing tournaments, and we're incredibly proud to have our team representing the club on the national stage.

All regular classes will resume on Monday 24th August.

We appreciate everyone's patience and continued support while we back our Spiders team.

Please join us in wishing all of our boxers and coaches the very best of luck. Train hard, box smart, and represent the club with pride! 🕷❤️🥊

Dear Members,

The Spiders Boxing Club Inc. Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Wednesday, 29 July.

As part of the AGM, nominations will be called for the following Executive Committee positions, each for a two-year term:

Executive Committee

President – Currently held by Kylie Burford
Vice President – Currently Vacant (Tyrone has nominated)
Secretary – Currently held by Katrina Hay
We are also seeking nominations for the following Committee Member positions:

Sponsorship / Fundraising / Grant Coordinator – Currently Vacant
Media / Newsletter Officer – Currently Vacant
Tournament Coordinator – Currently Vacant
Further information outlining the responsibilities of each role will be provided following the General Meeting on 12 July. If you would like to learn more beforehand or are considering becoming involved, please feel free to contact Luke on 0418 195 198.

Looking for a fun, active, and confidence-building activity during the week?
Spiders Boxing Club is trialing a new class dedicated for home-schooled students!
📅 Program Details
When: Every Wednesday
Start Date: 29 July 2026
End Date: 9 December 2026
⏰ Time: 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM

💲 Cost: $15 per class

This class is designed for ages 8–12 years, focusing on:
Fitness & coordination
Boxing fundamentals
Confidence & discipline
Fun, structured training
Younger participants are also welcome to come along and give it a go!
A great opportunity for kids to stay active, make friends, and build valuable life skills in a supportive environment 💪
