Don’t see any issue with this… 🤷‍♂️

Just a Dad showing his daughter how a man should treat her, and to accept nothing less.

Remember this one Dad’s.

You set the standards for your daughter.

If you’re a bum, she will date bums.

I want you to answer this question honestly.

Would you be happy if your daughter married a man like you?

If not, it’s time to step the f$&@ up!

If you want results that last you have to think long term.

Short term thinkers will ask:

“What will get me the best results in the next 8 weeks?”

Long term thinkers will ask:

“What will get me the best results for the rest of my life?”

Both questions lead to dramatically different answers.

Do these 6 things to drop 2 - 5 kg in the next month 👉

1. Change your environment

You are the product of your environment.

If you hang around people that drink alcohol and eat junk food.

Guess what you’re going to end up doing.

2. Cut alcohol

Name one good thing alcohol does for you.

You’re better off without it.

3. Track your calories

Use a calorie tracking app like myfitnesspal, cronometer or easy diet diary.

Aim to eat around 10-12x your bodyweight in lb.

Eg. If you are 150lb. Eat between 1500 and 1800 calories daily.

4. Exercise daily

You don’t need to be doing intense workouts.

But you need to be doing some kind of physical activity.

Aim for 30 minutes daily.

5. Keep a routine on weekends.

People struggle on weekends because they have a different routine to weekdays.

Go to bed and eat at the same time, prepare your meals, eat similar foods.

You will not succeed working on your goals only 5 days a week.

6. Eat a source of protein with every meal
Benefits of consuming protein:

- Highly satiating
- Low calorie
- Raises metabolism (thermic effect)
- Preserves muscle tissue when dieting
- Nutrient dense
- Meat, eggs and dairy taste amazing 🤩

7 reasons why you can’t stay consistent with your diet (read below ⬇️)

1. Perfectionists never stay consistent. They are either a 10/10 or a 0/10. In their mind if it isn’t perfect it isn’t worth doing.

2. Who the f**k wants to eat the same s**t on repeat for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday. You’re not Bryan Johnson.

3. Go into your screen time on your phone. If you spend anymore than 30 minutes on social media a day. I know you’re lacking time management skills.

4. Moderate, don’t eliminate 😎

5. You can’t function with a mind scattered in a thousand different directions. Take a deep breath and learn to regulate your emotional state without food.

6. Stop hanging around s**t people that pull you down to their level. If you want to have better habits, hang around people with better habits.

7. You’re an impatient motherf**ker. It took you 10 years to get fat, and you’re expecting to undo that in 8 weeks.

Which of these can you relate with?

You aren’t optimising your health if you only focus on diet and exercise.

You can survive months without food, a week without water, years without exercise.

But only a few minutes without breathing.

Everything in your body gets affected by the way you breathe.

You breathe on average roughly 20000 times a day!

And I bet you’ve never considered if you are doing it correctly.

Most of us have completely dysfunctional breathing patterns.

A dysfunctional breathing pattern will:

- Elevate stress levels
- Play havoc on your digestive system
- Cause muscles to become tight
- Affect your energy levels & mood

I have experienced these symptoms first hand.

I was a mouth breather for the first 25 years of my life.

And over the last 5 years, I’ve slowly trained myself to be a nose breather.

But I’ve only learnt how to breathe correctly in the last 5-6 months.

If you want to discover how to breathe better to optimise your health.

I’m hosting a breath work session in my community this Friday @ 7 am AET.

Which I am inviting you to attend.

If you would like to rsvp a spot.

Reply with “breath” the comments 😮‍💨

The real reason you can’t keep weight off.

Why is it that you always slip back into your old habits?

Never being able to maintain weight after you lose it.

It’s because whenever you lose weight, nothing about you changes.

Sure you changed the food you ate and exercised more.

But that’s only external change. Nothing happened internally.

You didn’t learn how to regulate your emotions and manage stress.

That’s why you keep turning to food as a coping mechanism.

You didn’t address your belief that you aren’t good enough or don’t deserve it.

That’s why you keep self sabotaging yourself.

Subconsciously you don’t belief you are worthy.

You still kept hanging around people with poor health habits.

You’re the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.

They directly shape and influence you into the person you are.

This is why you keep rebounding after you lose weight.

You think the problem is you can’t stick to a diet and exercise regime.

That’s surface level, it’s not the root cause.

The root cause of why you can’t make change, is because nothing about YOU changed.

You’re still in the same environment, with the same beliefs, thoughts and identity.

No wonder the change didn’t last. You didn’t change.

You stayed the same, but expected a different outcome.

To achieve your desires you are going to have to become a different person.

If that’s feels scary and uncomfortable. It’s because it is.

Growth is uncomfortable, that’s why they call it growing pains.

And if you’re not willing to step out of your comfort zone.

You WILL stay the same.

To succeed in permanently keeping the weight off after you lose it.

Stop making weight loss only about diet and exercise.

And put more focus into becoming the best version of yourself.
