Early days for Charlie, but you can already see it.

The hardest fight isn’t in the ring. It is the one you have with your alarm clock at 5:00 AM.

When the temperature drops and the mornings go dark, the excuses get louder. You tell yourself you need the sleep, or that you will train later, but you know the truth. You are choosing comfort over capability.

The athletes in our 6AM class do not want to be out in the cold any more than you do. They show up because they refuse to let the weather dictate their discipline. They understand that reclaiming their physical edge requires doing the work when it is inconvenient. This is a professional-grade program built for people who demand more from themselves.

I’ve been punched in the face in front of a crowd.
But hitting record on my phone? That’s the fight I almost always back out of.

I filmed this in two parts.
Not because of the lighting.
Not because I wanted it to be perfect.
Because I froze.

Wild, right?

I can take hits, bleed, and walk out smiling in front of hundreds.
But that little lens made me second-guess everything.

That’s when it hit me.

This is exactly how people feel when they walk into a fight gym for the first time.
Not physically unsafe.
But emotionally unready.
Like they don’t belong.
Like everyone’s watching.
Like they’re not good enough yet.

I felt that too.
Today.

So if you’re sitting in that fear — whether it’s stepping into the gym, stepping into a camera, or stepping into a new version of yourself…

Just know this:

The fear is the fight.
And showing up anyway?
That’s what The Good Fight is all about.

We went from an empty shed… to Parliament House.

What started as a simple space became a community.

That community created a mental health program that stood inside Parliament House in Canberra.
And reached the stages in Geelong.

This year, we didn’t just train.
We fought.

Fighters stepped into the ring.
Doors opened.
And one of our own earned the chance to represent Australia on the world stage.

This gym isn’t just about strength.
It’s about purpose.

Thank you to every coach, client, fighter, and supporter who helped build this.
