🟥**Please note this is a ‘Murray Bridge Speedway Club’ initiative NOT a made to go initiative, please do not call or message the made to go staff about the kids in pits programme**🟥
🏁The normal afternoon “Pit Walk” for general public and racing families not wishing to participate in the Kids in Pits Program will continue as normal
🏁 Standard Pit Entry Fees apply
🏁 Speedway Australia Dress Code applies (including closed in shoes)
🏁Parent/Guadian must have a current Speedway Australia Licence (day licences excluded)
🏁 Children under 16 must wear a High-Vis Vest or t-shirt at all times in the pit area with the car number and/or team name displayed on the back, supplied by the race team.
🏁 Parent/Guardian will sign a waiver form prior to entry and accept responsibility for the children.
🟥 this is excluding the driver racing on the night 🟥
🏁 Parent/Guardian & Children must wear armband all night.
🏁 No more than 2 Children assigned to a parent/guardian per race car.
RULES:
▪️Children must be Supervised at all times and be within 3m of a Parent/Guardian
▪️Children must be in the trailer or at least 5m away when cars are pushing in/out, being jacked up or refuelling.
▪️In the Grid Zone Children and the Parent/Guardian must only cross at designated cross over zones
▪️No Children in the HOT ZONE
▪️No Children in cars or push vehicles while moving or running
▪️No Children under 16 on the infield
PIT RULES:
▫️ALL cars must stop at the stop sign in Hot Zone before moving back to pit bay
▫️ALL clutch less cars must be pushed (personally or by mule/quad) at walking pace (eg Sprintcars; Wingless; Speedcars)
▫️Speed limit in the pits is 5km/hr for ALL with cars with clutches including recovery vehicles
MISCELLANEOUS:
Breaking any of these rules/regulations, will result in the offending parent/guardian and the children being removed from the racetrack and the driver given a $500 fine, immediate exclusion from the event and placed on the Speedway Australia Standdown list until the fine is paid. Unpaid fines will also result in both the driver, children and Parent/Guardian being excluded from being able to enter the pit.
Continued breaches will result in heavier fines and suspensions.
