Bordertown held its Annual Anzac Fours Tournament. With 20 teams competing in 3 games of 10 ends. Starting off with Soup & Sandwiches for lunch. Then a small Anzac Service outside and raising of the flag. Then onto the bowling green. Winners were Kingston, Runner Ups Mundulla.

The Men's 2 Day Triples Tournament was played on Tuesday & Wednesday this week with 2 full greens of players. The first day was played in perfect weather and second day started off with a bit of cooler weather but was enjoyed by all. .
A few spectators would have seen some great bowling. Congratulations to all winners over the 2 days.

BORDERTOWN WIN BOTH THE MEN & LADIES
ASSOCIATION SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Spectators watched lots of good bowling on Sunday between the clubs champions.
In the men Izzy Belluzzo played David Dent from Coonalpyn. Izzy played very consistent bowls and controlled the game until the end. David was putting some bowls in but it wasn't his day. Congratulations to both men.
In the ladies Belinda Pepper played Deb Jones. They were both bowling well with great competition between them. Belinda settled and got ahead but Deb kept coming back.
In the end Belinda got over the line

CHMPIONSHIP SINGLES
5 Ladies played in the Championship Singles on Sunday in very trying weather. The wind was hard to work out even with the Rolling of the Jack.
Even though the games were very well contested with close games right through.
The final was played between Wendy Twigden and Belinda Pepper.
Belinda proved to be more consistent and was the winner.
Congratulations Belinda.

The Championship Fours were played last Wednesday 19th November. The weather looked a bit dicey to start off with but ended up being quite pleasant. Good competitive game by all players.
