It takes a pretty special run to stop the clock at 3.3 seconds in Steer Ropingโ€ฆ and at the M5 Geelong Pro Rodeo double header in February, we had TWO of them! ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ’จ

๐Ÿ† ๐‰๐š๐ฑ๐จ๐ง ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฑ๐จ๐ง cracked a smoking 3.3 seconds in the Steer Roping, aboard ๐–๐จ๐ฆ๐›๐š๐ญ, the chestnut gelding is 15 yearโ€™s old out of Barb O Lena, by Whoโ€™s Top Cat and was crowed the 2024 Rope horse of the year for the Australian Professional Rodeo Association.

Then on the Saturdayโ€ฆ

๐Ÿ† ๐‹๐จ๐ ๐š๐ง ๐๐ž๐ง๐Ÿ๐จ๐ฅ๐ matched it with another 3.3-second run in the Steer Roping aboard ๐’๐ฆ๐จ๐จ๐œ๐ก owed by Jay-R and Jess Marsh the 11 year old Bay gelding a favourite to mount out on by our interstate competitors! Smooch or No Ordinary Cat is by Hard Hat Henry, out of Scamp Olena.

At the M5 Wangaratta Pro Rodeo at this yearโ€™s Easter Friday, it was Jarrod McKane who put together the highest-scoring Ba****ck Bronc Ride of the M5 Super Series.

Jarrod took on 004GM โ€œSpecklesโ€, one of Gary McPheeโ€™s broncs, and showed exactly what it takes to put your name on the M5 High Score board.
