A BIG WIN FOR LAW-ABIDING TERRITORY FI***RM OWNERS đź‘Ź

The Northern Territory Government has confirmed it will not participate in the National Gun Buyback Scheme.

A decision that recognises that law-abiding, licensed fi***rm owners are not the problem.

Licensed owners already follow strict rules around licensing, registration and safe storage — and responsible fi***rm ownership is an important part of life for many farmers, sporting shooters, hunters and regional Australians.

As NT Chief Minister Lia Finocchiaro said:

“Today is a big win for law-abiding Territory gun owners who will not be part of a National Gun Buyback Scheme.”

It’s encouraging to see a government willing to stand up for responsible fi***rm owners and focus on those who actually break the law.
