Jenko Sutherland Shire Pony Club is one of the longest standing sporting clubs, established by Mr Jenkins (AKA Jenko) in 1953 and is the only Pony Club in the Sutherland Shire. Pony Club offers a fantastic starting point for children learning to ride, providing a well-rounded introduction to horsemanship. The structured programs not only teach riding skills but also foster a deep understanding of

horse care, safety, and responsibility. In a supportive community setting, children develop teamwork and communication skills, making lasting friendships. The Pony Club experience lays a solid foundation for a lifelong appreciation of horses and equestrian pursuits and has been the starting ground for many elite equestrians. Our members have access to the amazing equine opportunities presented by Pony Club Australia including coaching and competition and elite education and development programs. Our Rally days are held the third Sunday of each month commencing at 9am and cover everything from flatwork, sporting, jumping, mounted games, and horsemanship skills. Riders have the opportunity to participate in many events throughout the year through Club, Zone, State and National competitions.
