As our games were cancelled last weekend the Ridgebacks will be supporting the Salvos Red Shield Appeal this long weekend 6-8th June.

There will be buckets at the canteen and volunteers walking around asking for donations.

Come trade your 2025 Trading card collections to build your favourite teams… or to trade for yourself!
We are opening the trading table on Saturday 6th June 9-11am for you to Bring your cards in and trade them with us.

If you haven’t started your 2025 collection yet, you can purchase cards at the canteen (packet of 4 player cards for $5)

The 2026 collection will be out end of July.

UPDATED 2026 COMPETITION DATES

Following last weekend's washouts, SSFA has released an updated competition schedule for the remainder of the season.
changes include:
Round 9 Saturday fixtures have been rescheduled to this Monday 8th June (Kings Birthday Monday)
Round 9 Sunday fixtures have been rescheduled to Sunday 21st june

Barden Ridgebacks FC will once again be supporting Pankind with two rounds of Play In Purple this year on the weekends of 25-26th July and 1st-2nd August.

This worthy cause raises awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research. Every 2 hours someone in Australia is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It is the third deadliest cancer in Australia, and unfortunately survival rates have barely improved over the last 15 years so more research is desperately needed.

You can support this cause by arranging for your team to all wear purple socks for games during the Play in Purple rounds. If you already have socks but want to give further to the cause you can make a donation through the site below and/ or order cape, beanies, wristbands or tshirts and all sorts of other purple merchandise.

Orders must be in by 10th June in order to be delivered in time for our Play in Purple rounds so it’s time to start getting your team organised and then make your order through this link.
