We’re back at home this Saturday! 🖤

Our Women take on Onkas, while our Reserve Men face Elizabeth in what promises to be another great day of rugby.

Pull on the black, rug up, and get down to the club to support the teams. There’s nothing better than a home crowd getting behind our players.

See you on the sidelines

Big congratulations to Theodore Siao on being awarded an Adelaide University Sport & Fitness President’s Scholarship. 🖤🏉

Talent on the field, commitment off it, and a pretty handy reminder that University rugby comes with opportunities well beyond the field!

MATCH OFFICIAL ABUSE DIRECTIVE

Respect the Whistle. Protect Our Game.

Rugby is more than a game, it's a community built on Discipline, Respect, Integrity, Passion and Teamwork. And at the heart of that community are our Match Officials.

They're coaches, parents, former players and volunteers who give their time so we can all enjoy the game we love. That's why the numbers matter: Match Official Abuse continues to account for over 50% of reported incidents. This is something we can fix, together.

Rugby Australia has released an updated Match Official Abuse Directive, reinforcing a simple truth: protecting our officials is everyone's responsibility. It brings zero tolerance for abuse, stronger sanctions and clear accountability. Respect is the foundation of our game.

Rules set the standard, but culture drives real change. When we treat Match Officials as part of our rugby family we make the game better for everyone. Every player, coach, supporter and volunteer has a role to play.

Learn more about the updated Match Official Abuse directive ⬇

Team lists are in. đź–¤

This weekend we’re back at home… sort of.

With Burnside currently rebuilding their clubhouse, and Souths still recovering from the recent rain damage to their grounds, we’re proud to host this week’s fixture at Adelaide Uni, despite it officially being a Burnside home game.

Our Sharks, Women, Reserve Grade and Premier Grade sides are all in action, and we’d love to see plenty of black around the sidelines.

More importantly, this weekend is about something much bigger than rugby.

Together with Burnside, we’ll be remembering Kane, a much-loved member of both clubs. Kane wore the Burnside colours before joining Adelaide Uni, where he proudly represented our Sharks and often stepped up to pull on the Reserve Grade jersey whenever he was needed. He was a fierce competitor who gave everything on the field, but away from the game he was known for his enormous heart, his willingness to put the team first, and the impact he had on everyone around him.

His memory reminds us that while rugby is built on toughness, it’s also built on looking after one another. Check in on your mates, have the conversations that matter, and remember that no one has to face life’s battles alone.

We’ll see you at the club as we come together to honour Kane’s memory. 🖤🏉

50 Games for Charlie đź–¤

What an incredible milestone! Over four seasons, Charlie has grown into one of the toughest little footballers around. Fearless in defence, electric in attack, and always playing with a smile, he gives absolutely everything every time he pulls on the black jersey.

Congratulations on your first 50 games, Charlie. We couldn’t be prouder of the player and young man you’re becoming, and we can’t wait to see what the next 50 have in store. 🏉🖤

Team lists are in. 🖤🏉
With Souths grounds closed due to heavy rain and muddy conditions, this weekend’s fixtures look a little different.
A huge thank you to North Torrens Rugby Football Club for hosting our senior fixtures at Dry Creek, and to Souths Rugby Union for lending players to help fill our Reserve Grade side. We’re grateful for the support and community spirit shown by both clubs.
Our U18’s, Women, Reserve Grade, Premier Grade teams will all be in action at North Torrens, while the rest of our junior teams will be at home taking on Souths.
See you on the sidelines. đź–¤

100 Games for Hamin đź–¤
A fearless defender, a lightning-fast attacker, and a teammate everyone trusts. Hamin leads by example every time he takes the field, while his humour and kindness make him a valued member of every team he’s part of.
Congratulations on an incredible 100 games, Hamin!
