The Leopards are a South African rugby union team that participates in the annual Currie Cup tournament, currently playing in the First Division. They play out of Potchefstroom at Olën Park. Potchefstroom is one of the country's best-known university towns and the Leopards have benefited from this, drawing lots of its players from the NWU Rugby Institute. The L

eopards, formerly called Western Transvaal or the Mielieboere (Corn Farmers), has always boasted big, strong and hard players. The union turned 100 years old in 2020.

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of Steven Moroka, Assistant Coach of our Leopards Women's Team.

We extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to his family, friends, players, and all who had the privilege of knowing him during this difficult time.

Steven's dedication, passion, and contribution to the game will always be remembered and cherished.

May his soul rest in peace.
