HOT STEPPERS U16 | TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT 🔥

We're incredibly proud to announce the U16 squad that will represent Hot Steppers Academy at the BDD Foundation Tournament, hosted at Paul Sauer High School next week!

Our boys are ready to step onto the big stage, showcase their talent and, most importantly, enjoy the experience.

Coach Siya Rassi Kasibe: "The boys are ready and eager to show what they can do. We're extremely grateful to be part of this development tournament, which continues to grow year after year. A big thank you to all the role players who make opportunities like this possible."

Assistant Coach Heini: "I'm delighted to be able to assist with these talented youngsters while also getting the opportunity to learn and grow myself. Coming from an area where our youngsters have very limited exposure, this is exactly the kind of opportunity they need to showcase their talent on a bigger stage.

Go out there, enjoy yourselves and make memories, boys. This is a potentially life-changing opportunity!"

❤️ A LITTLE SUPPORT CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE

While the boys are ready to represent, we still need some much-needed assistance with transport and nutrition for the day.
If you, your business or anyone in our community would like to contribute towards making this opportunity possible, please get in touch with any of the coaches.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.
Let's come together and invest in our youngsters. Sometimes all a child needs is an opportunity, a little encouragement and someone who believes in them.

Hot Steppers Academy – Developing talent, building character and creating opportunities!

WEST SIDE VICTORIOUS ON HOME TURF! 🔥

🔵 Knysna Stars 35–15 Tsitsikamma Titans A2

🔵 Pletties 20–15 Tsitsikamma Titans A1

What a night at Neverland! The atmosphere was electric, the fans were ecstatic, and the rugby was top-notch! Friday Night Lights delivered exactly what we hoped for — great rugby, passionate supporters and local talent putting on a show!

🔥 GAME 1: KNYSNA STARS MAKE THEIR MARK!

Knysna Stars showed their mettle in the opening encounter, powering their way to a convincing 35–15 victory over Tsitsikamma Titans A2.

The light-footed Flebe led from the front as Stars laid down the challenge early. The Titans came fighting back in the second half with two quick tries, but the Stars' dominant forward pack proved too clinical. With quick ball delivered to the backs, Knysna Stars struck again with two more tries to put the result beyond doubt.

A fantastic display of running rugby from both sides — entertaining from start to finish!

🔥 GAME 2: PLETTIES DIG DEEP FOR A HARD-FOUGHT WIN!

The main event had everything!

Tsitsikamma Titans A1 came out firing and stunned the home crowd with an early try. Pletties struggled to find their rhythm, while the Titans capitalised on the breakdown, putting the home side under pressure and making it difficult to retain possession in contact.

A second Titans try midway through the first half saw the visitors take a 10–0 lead, leaving the home crowd restless.

But Pletties weren't about to back down!

Some slick interplay between centres Proppie and Gared helped get the home side back into the contest, and Pletties headed into the halftime break trailing 5–10.

The second half would prove decisive as Pletties dug deep, showed character and fought their way to a hard-earned 20–15 victory! 💪🔥

WESTERN CAPE TAKES THE BRAGGING RIGHTS! 🔵🏆

Two fantastic encounters, four teams giving it their all, and a memorable evening celebrating the talent we have right here in our region.

A massive thank you to the Tsitsikamma Titans for making the trip, to all the players who gave us a great spectacle, and to every supporter who came out to back their team.

This is what local rugby is all about — community, sportsmanship, talent and bringing people together!

One region. Two sides. One love for the game. ❤️

We want to wish all injured players a full and speedy recovery, hope to see everyone fit and ready for the next challenge.... Stay tuned for more exciting games 💪
