The final race of the Western Cape Schools Mountain Bike League series took us to the fast, flowing trails of Bloemendal, and what a way to finish! 🚀⛰️

🏆 CHAMPION ALERT! 🏆

A MASSIVE congratulations to Zane Zandberg on becoming the SA Duathlon Champion in his age category! 🥇🔥

Competing on 11 July in Hoekwil, Zane put on an incredible display of determination and grit. After coming off the run 4 minutes behind the race leader, it was time for the bike… and that’s where the magic happened. 🚴💨

With seriously powerful cycling legs, Zane hunted down the field, took control of the race, and stormed to the top step of the podium! What a comeback. What a performance. 💪🔥

With a weekend off from racing, our Mrace athletes put the time to good use by heading to Bloemendal to dial in their lines, test their limits, and prepare for what promises to be an epic weekend of racing! 💪🚵‍♂️

The WP XCC and XCO are just around the corner, and after a solid weekend of practice, our riders are ready to give it everything they’ve got. Two days of fast, hard racing await, and we can’t wait to see our athletes out there battling for every second! ⚡🏁
