🛟Well done to the Fish Hoek Surf Lifesaving clubbies (Matthew Brading, Joseph Brading, Zach Abrahams and Josh Edwards, aswell as Sharkspotter Rozario Landore) who jumped into action, on Saturday 25th July, when alerted to an incident at Clovelly.

🙏We extend our thanks to Carl for taking the time to write a letter of appreciation for our young heros deed. We hope to see you up and training at the beach again soon.

🛟Today is National Drowning Prevention Day, (albeit everyday is drowning prevention).
💫Thank you to all our Lifeguards who do their bit to prevent drowning.

🧭We are often asked how many drownings we have had, HOWEVER the real question that should be asked, is how many drownings we have prevented.

The parts of lifesaving people do not see:
-the Pre beach set up
-the ongoing hazard assesment
-the training
-the support
-the end of day
-the IMPACT beyond the beach
