Well Done, once again Yamaneko-Ryu Karate received the 2024 Award in our category. 1st Place - Fish Hoek, 3rd Place - Muizenberg and 6th Place in the Western Cape. Luthando Prinsloo - Bronze Kata, Bruce Barclay - Gold Kumite & Silver Kata, Fynnley Newcomb - Gold Kata & Gold Kumite (Also Top 10 Student for the Competition), Owynn Newcomb - Silver Kata & Bronze Kumite, Katelyn Hendrickse - Silver Kata & Bronze Kumite, Ronan Van Huyssteen - Silver Kata (First time entering a competition). It's never to late to start, registrations for 2023 now open. This is the time to act, with all the crime in South Africa why not give yourself and kids a fighting chance and let them be able to DEFEND themselves as well as instill discipline, respect self-esteem and confidence also. We teach traditional Shotokan Karate and are affiliated to United Shotokan-Ryu.
