Scenes from my cycle this morning. It was weird to ride alone this weekend but my husband was working and my regular cycling buddies had other plans. I enjoyed the silence- no wind, beautiful clouds and open spaces in the Overberg.

So proud of my marathon client who keeps beating his 5km time trial time. Now to add the longer runs for the marathon preparation. Long runs can be boring, monotonous and difficult but it can be made easier with company (running buddy or music) or a reward (such as having family stop along the way with treats) or a change of scenery (running at the ocean and pretending to be on holiday)
