A massive, heartfelt Voet van Afrika congratulations to our reigning 2025 Voet van Afrika Marathon Women's Winner, Carla Spangenberg! 🏃‍♀️✨

Just last year, Carla conquered our challenging terrain to take the ultimate crown on our home turf. This past weekend, she took that undeniable champion spirit, grit, and grace to the ultimate test, the gruelling 2026 Comrades Marathon Up-Run!

Running against the best ultra-distance athletes in the world, Carla delivered an absolute masterclass in pacing, strength, and determination. She crossed the finish line in Pietermaritzburg in a blistering time of 7:10:27, securing a phenomenal 27th PLACE OVERALL in the women's field! 🌟🏅

From the top step of the Voet van Afrika podium to dominating the roads of Comrades... Carla, your dedication, inspiration, and victory have left us all in awe. You are a true testament to what hard work and a fierce running heart can achieve!
