💙❤️ A NEW ERA BEGINS FOR KOVSIENETBALL! 🏐

KovsieSport and KovsieNetball is proud to announce that Karla Pretorius has been appointed as the next Head Coach of KovsieNetball.

A proud UFS alumna, former player and current Specialist Coach, Karla will officially take over the leadership of the programme at the conclusion of the 2026 season, following the retirement of renowned coach Burta de K**k.

With a deep understanding of the KovsieNetball culture and a wealth of experience both as an elite athlete and coach, Karla is ready to lead the next generation of student-athletes and build on the proud legacy of the programme.

Final-day energy was next level across Stellenbosch, Bloemfontein & Gqeberha.

Men: UFS 5–2 UCT (finished 7th overall in the A section)
Women: UFS 2–3 UWC

Netball | Bloemfontein
Men: UFS 52–35 UP Tuks (won bronze in their section)
