re. However, YCRC is much more than just a racing fan's social club! The Injured Drivers Fund, was created to financially help any YCRC Member Driver, should they suffer an injury and loss of income while racing. Much of the club's time is devoted to the various fund raisers that provide the much needed monies for this fund. Thousands of dollars have been paid out since the Injured Drivers Fund was founded. The club has also sponsored benefits and fund raising events for the families of those who lost their lives while racing. YCRC also recognizes the importance of preserving the rich history of the sport. YCRC's annual Hall of Fame Banquet is just one example of how the club helps to raise public awareness, as well as honor the racers themselves for their efforts. The awards and presentations given each year in recognition of the accomplishments of the racing family, past and present, have become a valued and important tradition to the racing community.
