JJWL BRACKETS ARE OUT! 🔥 Athletes and parents, you can check your mat and match times on the images below. For the detailed bracket, including exactly who you’ll be facing, head to the Jiu Jitsu World League website.

And we are bringing an army! This Saturday, September 19th, .JiuJitsu is entering 47 total Gi and No-Gi divisions at the Jiu Jitsu World League Florida XIII Gi Youth Championship in Kissimmee, Florida.

Professor Lucas Pinheiro | Bad Boy is excited to coach our athletes and watch them put their hard work, discipline, and training to the test on the competition mats.

Competing is an important part of the journey in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It teaches confidence, resilience, sportsmanship, and how to perform under pressure. We are incredibly proud of every single one of our athletes stepping onto the mats this weekend. This is our biggest showing at a tournament yet, and it’s a reflection of how much this team has grown in such a short time.

Good luck to all of our competitors, and thank you to the parents, family members, and teammates who will be there supporting them all day.

Blue belt earned. Congrats, JUAN!

For over a year, Juan has been part of Pinheiro Jiu-Jitsu | Winter Garden. He showed up, put in the work, and competed for us every chance he got, always representing PJJ the right way. That belt didn’t come from luck. It came from consistency and heart.

Getting it from Professor Lucas Pinheiro | Bad Boy and Coach Kaden Zane made it that much more special.

The tiniest members of our team just earned some big stripes.

Congratulations to our 3-5 year olds on their stripe promotions this week! These are the youngest kids at Pinheiro Jiu-Jitsu | Winter Garden, and watching them grow has been one of the best parts of our week.

At this age, it’s all about the foundation, coordination, balance, listening, and learning to move with confidence before they graduate up to the 6+ class. Watching these little ones step up is priceless.

This class has grown so much, and none of it happens without the parents. To every mom and dad who shows up, buckles the little belts, and keeps bringing them back week after week, this one is for you. Your consistency is what turns these small steps into big growth.

Proud of our littlest grapplers. The future of this team is in great hands.

Our team hit the mats at the Jiu-Jitsu Con in Las Vegas, and every one of them came home with a medal. Landon Munoz 🦅, Elias Yandy Plasencia, and Valentina Calvas 🇺🇸 🇨🇴 🇵🇪 competed no-gi, and JUAN represented in the gi, all of them putting in incredible performances and doing this team proud.

Thank you to Coach Kaden Zane and Coach Adriana Ponce for pouring into these athletes and getting them ready to fight at the big venue.

And we’re not done yet. Today the team is back on the mats to compete in the gi. Let’s go!

This is what our classes for older kids and pre-teens are all about. At this age, kids are figuring out who they are, and the mats are one of the best places to do it. They learn to stay calm under pressure, push through challenges, and carry themselves with a quiet confidence that shows up at school, at home, and everywhere else.

It's more than jiu-jitsu. It's discipline, real friendships, and a couple of screen-free hours with a team that has their back.

Classes for kids 10 and up run:

Mon, Wed, Fri at 5:30 PM (Gi)
Tue, Thu at 5:30 PM (No-Gi)

At Pinheiro Jiu-Jitsu, we have a class for every kid, starting as young as 3 years old. Whether your child is just starting out or ready to compete, they'll train with kids their own age while building focus, confidence, and real friendships, and burning off all that energy the best way possible.

Kids classes grouped by age:

Ages 3-5 at 3:45 PM (Mon, Wed, Fri)
Ages 6-9 at 4:30 PM (Mon-Fri)
Ages 10-14 at 5:30 PM (Mon-Fri)

Homeschool? Our homeschool class meets Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 AM for kids 6 and up, and homeschoolers are welcome in the afternoon classes too, based on their age group.

We're also an approved Step Up for Students provider, so families using the PEP or UA scholarship can put their funds toward classes, private lessons, and uniforms.

Your child's first class is completely free. Come see what they're capable of.
