Congratulations to all of our students who competed this weekend at the Jiu Jitsu World League Florida XII Championship in Lakeland!

Today in class, we took a few minutes to recognize and congratulate every student who stepped onto the competition mats. We celebrated their hard work, courage, discipline, and the results they earned through months of training. There is nothing better than seeing our students receive recognition in front of their teammates and hearing the team cheer for their accomplishments.

A special congratulations to Elias Plasencia, Sebastian Rodriguez, Carolina Medina, Cash Caravella, Calvin Barrett, Julian Fabian, Miles Barrett, Landon Munoz, Daniel Medina, Nathaniel Gregory, Elysee Medina, Galilea Torres, Olivia Bhoge, Valentina Calvas, Andre Almeida, Sebastian Lobaton, and Tomas Hernandez. We are proud of every one of you for representing Pinheiro Jiu-Jitsu with class and determination.

Now the focus shifts to the biggest goal of the summer: IBJJF Pan Kids. With only a few weeks remaining, our competition team is training hard and preparing for one of the most important youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments in the world. The lessons learned through competition build confidence, resilience, discipline, and character that extend far beyond the mats.

Only 4 weeks until Pan Kids! The IBJJF Pan Kids Championship is one of the biggest and most prestigious youth Jiu-Jitsu tournaments in the world, and our team is hard at work getting ready for it.

Every day, our kids are showing up, pushing themselves, supporting each other, and growing both on and off the mats. As coaches, there is nothing more rewarding than watching their confidence, discipline, and love for Jiu-Jitsu continue to grow.

The next four weeks are all about preparation, consistency, and enjoying the process. We are proud of every student representing Pinheiro Jiu-Jitsu, and we can’t wait to see them step onto those mats.

Almost every athlete brought home a gold medal, and the few who didn’t still gave incredible performances and showed the heart, discipline, and courage that make me proud to be their coach.
