This Feature Friday is spotlighting D-BAT!⚾️

Here's the thing about D-BAT, their only goal is helping athletes get better and prepare for whatever next level means for them. Doesn't matter the age, skill level, or experience, their coaches show up for every single athlete chasing their goals. (And yes, they have A/C, Central Florida parents, you know why that matters.)

We asked them, what's the toughest part of running a business? Their answer was real: "learning to control the controllables." Machines break. Wi-Fi goes down. Stuff happens. But how they respond? That's where their team shows up every time, making sure the experience inside those four walls stays elite no matter what.

And their origin story is the kind that gets us every time. What started as a passion project became a full-blown leap of faith, juggling a full-time career while building something they truly believed in, until they went all in. Now? They're blessed, they're growing, and they're opening a 2nd location in Sarasota next year. 👏

🥎 FASTPITCH PLAYERS — THIS ONE’S FOR YOU.

D-BAT Winter Garden is bringing in professional softball players Alex Brown & Alyssa Zabala for two days of hands-on training this October!

This isn’t a camp where athletes stand around waiting for their turn. We’re building each session around reps, instruction, competition, and learning directly from athletes who have played at the highest levels of college softball and now professionally.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2 | AGES 5–12
⏰ 5:30–8:30 PM
Led by Alex Brown

Players will work through:
• Infield & outfield fundamentals
• Defensive drills and footwork
• Hitting instruction & drills
• Bunting
• Competitive games
• Q&A with Alex

Perfect for younger players who want to build better fundamentals, gain confidence, and have FUN getting better.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3 | AGES 13–18
⏰ 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Led by Alex Brown & Alyssa Zabala

This session is built for the more advanced player and will include:
• Advanced infield & outfield defense
• Hitting instruction & drills
• Bunting and offensive ex*****on
• Situational hitting & approach
• Pitching instruction with Alyssa
• Competition + Q&A

Pitchers will have the opportunity to work directly with former All-ACC Louisville pitcher and current professional Alyssa Zabala, while position players train with 3x All-ACC Clemson standout and current Kansas City Diamonds player Alex Brown.
