Our journey continued in beautiful Yokohama, where OGKK Orlando had the honor of participating in the JKF Goju-Kai Seminar and All Japan Goju-Kai Championships! 🌏🏆

📚 Two days of seminar training
🏟️ Two days of international competition
🥋 World-class instruction
🤝 New friendships and lasting memories

We trained alongside dedicated karateka and learned from highly respected Goju-Kai instructors. The level of karate was exceptional, and the experience challenged us, inspired us, and gave us valuable lessons to bring home to our dojo. 💪🔥

🥉👏 A special congratulations to Shanny Sensei, who earned a bronze medal in kumite! Competing in Japan against talented athletes is a tremendous accomplishment, and we are extremely proud of her performance. 🇺🇸🏆

🙏 We are grateful to all the instructors, organizers, competitors, and friends who welcomed us and shared their knowledge, friendship, and karate spirit.

Experiences like this remind us that karate is about much more than winning medals. It is a lifelong journey of:

🇯🇵🥋 As our journey through Japan comes to an end, I’m taking a moment to reflect on everything we experienced and accomplished.

Our team from Stoneybrook Karate OGKK Orlando —myself, GP Sensei, Shanny Sensei, and Kevin Sensei—completed: The team Was lead by Sensei Ramon Veras from Texas under JKF Goju Kaí USA.

🥋 Three days of intense training at the OGKK Masters Seminar in Fujinomiya
🥋 Two days of training at the JKF Goju-Kai Seminar
🏆 Two days at the Goju-Kai Championships in Yokohama

We trained under some of the highest-level instructors in Goju-Ryu. We were corrected, challenged, tested, and pushed beyond what we thought we could do. 💪

Our athletes competed alongside outstanding karateka from around the world and represented OGKK Orlando with courage, respect, and pride. 🌎🥋

🥉 A special congratulations to Shanny Sensei for earning a bronze medal in kumite at the Goju-Kai Championships—an incredible accomplishment on the international stage!

🙏 We are deeply grateful to Teruya Sensei, Muramatsu Sensei, Hirata Sensei, Traditional Karate Center Ramon Veras Sensei, and OGKK Masuda Karate Dojo 沖縄剛柔流空手道協会　増田空手道場 Masuda Sensei for their instruction, guidance, and support throughout this journey.

We are returning home with a deeper understanding of Goju-Ryu, renewed motivation, and so much knowledge and experience to share with our OGKK Orlando students. 🥋🔥

Thank you to everyone who supported us from home and to the students and families who make OGKK Orlando what it is. ❤️

This chapter may be coming to an end, but the next part of our journey is just beginning. We have a lot to share, and we cannot wait to get back to the dojo!
