They recently supported our Youth League through our bottle drive. Their support is providing local kids with opportunities to learn, grow, and enjoy the outdoors.

We will be having trap shooting on Monday 9/7 at 5pm. $6 a round ear and eye protection is required. Open to the public weather permitting. Jerry

Are you interested in clay shooting, but maybe a bit intimidated by showing up to an organized shoot? This coming Sunday, 9/6 at 1:00 we are holding a beginner oriented trap shooting session. There will be several experienced shooters and range safety officers on hand to coach you through the rules of the range and the game.

Recreational clay shooting is a great way to get acclimated and dialed in for the upcoming waterfowl and upland bird hunting seasons.

Trap is one of many clay shooting games. Each round is 25 shots, and has 5 positions that you shoot from. One clay is launched at a time by voice command from a thrower that oscillates.

If you’re new to sh****ns, or it’s been a while and you could use a refresher; consider coming to the Introduction to Sh****ns program listed in an earlier post.

Bring your favorite sh***un and a box (or more!) of shells and have a blast learning the game of trap!

Open to the public, eye and ear protection required. We will have safety gear and some equipment available for use.
