I have always felt closest to God through creation. Spending the morning with his most beautiful creatures, listening to them chew, worshipping, and watching the sun come up is my new addiction.

Even when chores are finished, I stick around just to spend a little more time sharing space with them.

With the pace we live in and with all of the life stages, I've learned that the only way it's all getting done is if I get up before the sun, and everyone else.

What a privilege it is to live the life I once prayed for. And instead of saying "I have to," I'm really working on the "I get to."
