WVFD Auxiliary

WVFD Auxiliary Whitewood Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary WVFD Auxiliary is a group of community members who wish to serve their community!

We provide support to the WVFD during calls such as cold/hot drinks along with meals we also provide a extra set of hands during fire department open houses. We also are the hospitality arm of the fire department by keeping the fire hall clean. The Auxiliary also sponsors local community events such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Haunted House and a co-sponsor of The Festival of Trees.

This weekend, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of our nation’s fallen firefighters.

During National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, we remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in the line of duty. Their service reflects the very best of our profession: selflessness, dedication, and a deep commitment to protecting others.

We will never forget their sacrifice.
