Meet Dalton Nicholson, PGA!
BIG Congratulations to Dalton Nicholson on officially becoming a Class A PGA Member. Please join us in celebrating this exciting achievement and learning more about Dalton’s journey in the golf industry.
Originally from Glendive, Montana, Dalton discovered his love for golf at a young age playing alongside his dad and grandpa. What began as a family pastime quickly grew into a competitive passion, and by age 13 he was competing and developing a deep connection to the game. After graduating high school, Dalton continued his playing career at Crown College in Minnesota before transferring to the University of Colorado Colorado Springs to complete the Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program.
Dalton is entering his fourth season here at Elkhorn Ridge Golf
Club, where he has spent three seasons as a PGA Intern. Now serving as an Assistant Golf Professional, his primary focus is golf operations and tournament coordination, while also dedicating time to instruction. His teaching philosophy emphasizes helping players develop a deeper understanding of their own golf swing and empowering them to make adjustments and improve even when they are away from the lesson tee.
Outside of the course, Dalton is a passionate college football fan, a proud supporter of the New York Giants and an avid gym enthusiast. He also loves living in the Northern Black Hills, which he now calls home alongside his girlfriend, Lola, and their two cats, Marvin and Mits. Dalton is excited to continue growing in the game and is proud to represent the PGA and Elkhorn Ridge Golf Club.
