The World Cup Comes to Utah!

The WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series is coming to Soldier Hollow September 17-20, bringing the world's best cross-country racers to Utah, including hometown favorite Haley Batten and the Specialized Factory Racing team.

This is one of two stops for the UCI Mountain Bike series in the USA and definitely the closest. Who's going?!?

Frei, Boichis & Epic 9 Sweep Les Gets

It was a perfect weekend for Specialized Racing in Les Gets, with Sina Frei and Adrien Boichis each taking victory in both the Short Track and XCO races aboard the Epic 9. Four races. Four wins.

Another dominant World Cup weekend for Specialized, with the Epic 9 once again delivering at the highest level of XC racing.

The Spearfish community, along with our campground guests, are invited to attend the "Party in the Woods: New Trails Grand Opening" at Spearfish City Campground this Saturday. Activities will begin at 2:15 PM with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to dedicate the newest trail in Spearfish. The event will feature open-mic live music, so please feel free to bring your guitar, keyboard, or simply share your singing talent and participate in the festivities. Please note the parking location!

Specialized Bicycles gives their GENIE shock the RockShox treatment!

Like the Fox GENIE, the RockShox version uses two air chambers that are connected and work together for the first 70% of the shock stroke. The last 30% is where the outer chamber is closed off, which increases support and ramps up the progression to prevent harsh bottom-outs on big hits.

The middle-to-end of the shock stroke is where the magic happens, with more travel at the same bump force, while also increasing the end stroke support.
