Settling in for the spring snow with this book I picked up at the on Friday.

After we were done with adulting responsibilities today, we got into a more fun job of starting the trail system we’re creating around the parameter of our 94 acre property. We have existing trails we will connect to the parameter trail, and it should wind up being a great network!

We had to take a survey walk to gauge how we’re running this first part. One of our cats, appropriately named Atlas, always joins us and the pups on our strolls.

We have much to do when the warmer (and dryer) season is here, but we’re super hopeful to have at least a good chunk of this parameter trail done by snow fall next winter.

So excited to share this beautiful land with others who love nature as much as we do

- An experienced Recreation Guide (guiding since 2017, with many, many more years of outdoor experience)
- Plant and animal ID information along the trails or water
- Natural, clean meals and snacks when provided as part of the event.
- Someone in touch with spiritual direction and purpose, without all the trending and hokey love and light bypassing that comes with most spiritual practice these days. *Not all trips have meditation or journeying components, but I do fully believe we can connect with spirit best when immersed in our natural world.
- An individual who works within their experience and training levels (you’ll never be the guinea pig for something I THINK I can do, but have no experience, training or certification in actually doing)
- An opportunity to broaden your community and connection to others

Breeding season runs from January through March, and kits are born from March through May. If you’re lucky, you may see some precious little one’s emerging from their dens starting in June.
