Step back in time with Maine Woods Baseball! ⚾️
Our vintage base ball team proudly competed in the annual reenactment of Maine’s first documented baseball game, originally played on October 10, 1860, between the Bowdoin Seniors and the Sunrise Club of Brunswick. No gloves. No frills. Just bare-handed baseball played by the 1860 rules. The way the game was meant to be! Live the dream...play baseball forever from 1860 to 2025…and beyond!

With the final Fall Ball game wrapped up, another incredible season of Maine Woods Baseball is officially in the books! Now it's time to hang up the cleats, rest those weary bones, and settle in for a well deserved winter break.

Thanks for a great year. Have a safe and healthy off-season, we'll see you in the spring!

Some exciting action from Fall Ball at The Ballpark this past Sunday! The Mountaineers evened the best-of-five series at one game apiece with a win over the Coastals. Mother Nature has certainly been treating us to some incredible fall weather—here’s hoping she delivers again this coming Sunday.

Some action from the Maine Woods 45 championship game on Sunday as the Braves defeated the Cardinals 7-6 in extra innings. Mother Nature finally blessed us with some great weather after all the challenges she threw at us early in the season. Congratulations to the Braves and Cardinals for making it to the big game. Interesting fact...the Braves are the first team to repeat as league champions since the Cardinals did it back in 2011-2012!

Congratulations to our Maine Woods 45 champions. The Braves defeated the Cardinals 7-6 in 10 innings and took home the league trophy for the second year in a row.

Red Sox take home the trophy! 🏆⚾

The Maine Woods 60 Red Sox are your 2025 MW60 champions after a hard-fought game against the White Sox. The White Sox rallied with a five-run comeback in the 9th inning, but it wasn't enough to dethrone the 2024 champs. The final score was 11-8. Congrats, Red Sox!
