Just a few weeks after his 23rd birthday, USA/Mission Ridge ski cross racer Jack Mitchell wrapped up his best season yet with his record 4th US National Championship at Copper Mountain, Colorado!
2025/26 was his best season yet, with 7 podiums, including 4 North American (NorAm) Cup medals, bringing his career total to 13, now tied for most ever by an American. Jack also had top 10 finishes in the Swiss and Canadian Nationals, and 2 South American Cup races. Still young for the sport and developing, he gained invaluable experience in 7 World Cup and 10 Europa Cup starts.
The goal of US Ski Cross is qualification and selection to the 2030 winter Olympic team in France and the podium at the 2034 home Olympics in Park City, Utah.
US Ski Cross will soon officially announce the establishment of a new National Training Center in Colorado. Jack's personal goal is to be a medal threat in every World Cup start.
He will likely open the 2026/27 season ranked #2 in the US, and hopes to earn a spot to compete for the US at the World Championships, March 2027, Montafon, Austria.
