PSPL President Coming to Speak to Wenatchee Latin-American Community: Tue May 28 7-9:30pm at Foothills MS

Stanley Holmes, President and co-founder of PSPL, will be visiting Wenatchee next Tuesday to speak to the local Latin-American soccer community about future minimum Club standards and the need for smaller soccer groups to unite in order to meet those standards. Please help spread the word to all our Latino families, friends and administrators to attend this important meeting and hear about the future of soccer in Washington state. It will be held at the Foothills Middle School cafeteria and refreshments are being planned to be available.

Now that we've had that long break from the end of one soccer season (a whole week!) it's time to start planning for the next one -- tryouts for the 2013-14 BU12 squad are both tonight and Thursday (May 7th & 9th) from 6:30-8pm at Sunnyslope Elementary school. Bring liquids as it looks like it's going to be another hot day. See you there!

A great result for eastern Washington teams last weekend -- good luck to all the East U10, U13 and up teams (including 6 from Wenatchee Fire) getting ready to compete in their own final round this coming weekend!

After our win yesterday Coach Bill mentioned we are now eligible to take part in one more tournament. I believe the following link has some preliminary information (but Bill will soon have the latest and most accurate info):

National Cup XII Regionals are open to teams in the U-11 through U-18/19 age groups, and winners from the U-13 through U-17 age groups will qualify for the National Cup XII Finals from July 18-21 at Aurora Sports Park in Aurora, Colo.
