Arlberg Sports Located in Wenatchee Washington, Arlberg Sports is the foremost dealer of winter and summer sporting equipment in Central Washington.

n 1958, a year after we were married, we had an idea to combine business and our love of skiing. With the help of friends and family and the sale of our 1953 MGA sports car as initial capital, we excitedly opened a ski shop. After much thought, we named our new business “The Arlberg Ski Shop” after the first method of skiing called “The Arlberg Ski Technique”. In the beginning, The Arlberg Ski Shop was a wooden single A-frame building operating only in the winter months and catering only to alpine skiers. By 1961 we had outgrown our little A-frame shop. Once again we went to our family and friends and with their help we literally had a “barn-raising” event and the single A-frame was expanded to a triple A-frame structure. Our business continued to grow... some years were good, and some years were not so good. Through it all, we started to develop a reputation as one of the best boot-fitting stores on the West Coast.

Bikes and scooters with helmets have been an amazing part of our “give” to children in the Wenatchee Valley since our first year. This is our 10-Year Anniversary and bikes and scooters continue to be an important gift. We want to express a huge thank you to Wenatchee Valley Velo, Bloom Productions/Leavenworth Bike Fest, and Arlberg Sports for the HELMETS being donated for the 2026 toy drive! What a great start for this year! We look forward to seeing the Wenatchee Valley Velo group for the Bike Build!

✨Let’s celebrate this mural together! ✨

Join us Nov. 6 at 5 PM for the “Big Reveal!” The Wenatchee Valley YMCA’s mural takes center stage for Wenatchee First Fridays

Did you hear this is the largest indoor mural in Central Washington?!

So, to celebrate, we are doing a ribbon cutting that stretches entire 100ft wall! ✂️

A few things to look forward to:

• A quick chat about the mural + a BIG ribbon cutting
• A walking tour to take in all the details
• Limited-edition mural shirts
• Tasty snacks and drinks
• Learn more about the YMCA’s outdoor recreation programs

Bring your family and friends, come check out the art, and be part of the celebration. Can’t wait to see you there! 🎉
