Midwest Performing Arts Enhancing lives through dance education. It is important as a dancer to have a well rounded education in many different forms of dance.

Midwest Performing Arts offers a progressive program in dance technique grounded in Ballet, Modern and Jazz Dance training, while also including Tap and Hip Hop genres of dance. Our schedule and curriculum allow each and every student to learn in many genres. Midwest Performing Arts dance training program moves the student from the Pre-Dance levels, through the Student Division, and into the Pre-P

rofessional Program. These three categories allow the school to give each individual dancer the focus on training they are seeking, from introduction to dance, to the recreational dancer, and to the professionally focused student.

It’s Nutcracker season and Nutcracker Prep Classes begin this week! Classes are held both days of September 9th and 10th. Nutcracker Prep Classes are highly recommended, but not required, to audition for The Nutcracker. Dancers will work on technique, choreography, and audition etiquette to prepare them to audition at their best! Pre-registration for Nutcracker Auditions is available during these days from 3:00-7:00pm as well. Handing in your audition form and payment and getting measured will help speed up the audition day process. We can’t wait to share the Nutcracker magic with you in the studio! 🩰✨
