It was an incredibly tough day with high heat and lots of challenging riding but I persevered and on not my best day in not my best year I can say that I completed my tenth 70.3 World Championship and smiled as@much as I could while doing it. So proud of all the LifeSport athletes who also made it through and while sad@my time in France is coming to an end I am happy to see@my twinkies!

Racked and ready. One more sleep and it will be time to get this baby up and over the Col de Vence safe and sound but as quick as possible. Congratulations to all the amazing women who rocked the course today!

Did the last 5 k of the Col de Vence and then scouted the descent back to Nice. The climb remains a fun and challenging ride but something I feel ready for and will enjoy. The descent remains what I consider very sketchy and not at all something I will have fun doing. More of a stay safe and survive than go fast and accomplish anything. Ah well. I’m in France. I’m sure I’ll manage.
