Join us for the Icon TOUR of the MOON, Grand Cycling Classic, on October 3, 2015 in Grand Junction / Colorado National Monument (a unit of the National Park System). The Tour of the Moon was made famous in the 1980’s Coors Classic and later in the cycling movie American Flyers. Today, it continues to be considered one of the premier recreational rides in the western United States. The breathtaking

, high desert scenery and beautiful roads make this an epic day of cycling. The 2015 ride will be limited to the first 2,000 registered participants. The Icon Tour of the Moon will work in partnership to raise funds for the Colorado Riverfront Commission and Bicycle Colorado.

Ron Kiefel joined us at Tour of the Moon last year, regaling the crowd at the VIP event and chatting with seemingly everybody on the day of the ride, which he did on a tandem with his son. Who is Ron Kiefel you ask? (Gasp!) Give this a read.
