The World’s Game belongs to all of us.

As the world prepares to come together tomorrow, young people in our local communities are reminding us what makes this game so special.

It’s not just about the goals, the matches, or the final score. It’s about connection. It’s about community. It’s about bringing people together across cultures, countries, and backgrounds.

Despite our differences, soccer has a unique way of uniting us all. Soccer brings us together.

55+ trainers. 30 community organizations. One shared purpose.

Last week in Denver, we welcomed our Soccer for Success After-School community back together for National Training, preparing the next generation of trainers who will support coach-mentors across the country.

For more than a decade, National Training has helped equip leaders to bring the power of soccer back to their communities. Through sessions focused on soccer instruction, positive youth development, coach-mentorship, curriculum delivery, and facilitation, participants gained the tools to train and support coach-mentors in the year ahead.

Trainers also engaged in Kinder Joy of Moving activities focused on confidence, leadership, teamwork, and positive youth development, a reminder that the impact of sport extends far beyond the game itself.

As excitement builds around soccer this summer, these trainers are creating opportunities for young people to build confidence, find belonging, and develop skills that will last a lifetime.

As the world turns its attention to the FIFA World Cup this week, we were reminded of the game's power right here in New York City.

The NYC Unity Cup brought together youth and families from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and communities to compete, connect, and celebrate through The World's Game.

Through Just Ball, the U.S. Soccer Foundation and adidas provide free, neighborhood-based opportunities for kids to play the game they love. By creating safe, accessible places to play within walking distance of where they live, we're helping ensure that every child has the opportunity to experience the benefits of soccer.

A special thank you to adidas, the founding and longtime Just Ball partner, for helping make the day even more memorable. From an immersive soccer bowling experience where participants knocked down pins with Triondas, to World Cup bandanas and FIFA World Cup 2026 jersey giveaways, adidas brought the excitement of this summer's global tournament directly to the next generation of players.

As the world comes together through soccer this summer, we're proud to continue creating opportunities for young people to do the same in their own communities.

A special shout out to NBCU Telemundo Enterprises, MetLife Foundation and Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures for their support in bringing the joy of the game to Ballers!

Leaders from across the country are in Denver this week for National Training, preparing to become the coach‑mentors who will bring our proven programs to life in under‑rescourced communities.

They’re here to learn, lead, and help more kids thrive on and off the field. This work starts with them, and it reaches every child they’ll inspire.

Strong partnerships create lasting impact.

We're proud to continue our partnership with Vita Coco for a second year, expanding access to soccer and youth development opportunities through the creation of new mini-pitches in Dallas and Denver.

Last month, we celebrated the opening of a new mini-pitch at Tom C. Gooch Elementary School in Dallas, creating a space where young people can build confidence, develop life skills, and experience the benefits of play. Next, we'll bring that same opportunity to youth in Denver.

Together, we're helping ensure more young people have access to safe places to play and the opportunities that come with them.

Laced up for something bigger.

Yesterday, leaders from across government, business, sports, and the community came together for a day centered around the unifying power of soccer.

From the Staffers vs. Lobbyists Match and the Embassy Cup Final to the Congressional Soccer Match, the event brought together Members of Congress, congressional staff, soccer legends, industry leaders, embassy representatives, and supporters around a shared belief: that soccer can create meaningful opportunities for young people and strengthen communities.

The matches helped advance our mission that extends far beyond the final whistle, ensuring young people have access to coach-mentors and creating more safe places to play.

Thank you to everyone who participated, partnered, volunteered, and supported this year's event. Together, we're creating more opportunities for young people through the power of soccer.

We're proud to celebrate leaders creating lasting impact through soccer.

Last night at the Congressional Soccer Match, we presented our annual awards to organizations and individuals whose leadership is expanding access, creating opportunities, and transforming lives through soccer in under-resourced communities.

This year's honorees exemplify what it means to use the game as a force for good:

Stand TogetherTogether received the Alan I. Rothenberg Award for its work expanding access to high-quality mentoring and helping ensure young people have trusted role models through our Yes, Coach! initiative.

LA Galaxy received the Kevin Payne Community Impact Award for its commitment to using soccer to engage youth and strengthen communities. Since 2015, our partnership has helped create mini-pitches across Greater Los Angeles, expanding access to the game for thousands of young people.

Newark Board of Education Schools and Think TogetherTogether received the Change Maker Award for their efforts to strengthen communities and drive positive outcomes for children and families.

Alex Morgan and Tyler Adams received the Briana Scurry Ally Award for leveraging their platforms to advance positive social change and create opportunities for underserved communities.

The power of soccer goes beyond the pitch.

Sen. knows firsthand the lessons sports can teach: teamwork, communication, perseverance, and leadership.

Ahead of today’s Congressional Soccer Match, he shared why he’s proud to support our and our mission to help young people in under-resourced communities live healthier, happier lives through soccer.

Soccer has a unique ability to bring people together. 🤝

Tomorrow, Representatives, Senators, soccer legends, and community leaders will take the pitch at Audi Field for the Congressional Soccer Match.

As we count down to kickoff, we're grateful for the leadership of Rep. Rick Larsen and Sen. Chris Van Hollen, whose support helps bring this event to life and showcase the power of soccer to connect communities and create opportunities for young people.
