In a BAD setting of precedent, LA City Council just succumbed to public pressure without attempting to investigate themselves and banned rodeo.

Now, typing 'CALIFORNIA NEEDS TO FALL IN TO THE OCEAN' won't help the snowball from becoming an avalanche. MORE intelligent, compassionate voices showing our communities LOVE for our animals will.

The Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously to ban rodeo events within city limits. Supporters say some rodeo practices put animals under stress and can cause harm for the sake of entertainment.

City officials said the vote reflects changing community standards on animal welfare. Advocates believe the ban responds to concerns about the physical strain and psychological stress animals may face during certain rodeo activities.

This vote places Los Angeles among major cities rethinking traditional entertainment under modern animal welfare standards. The city is expected to set implementation details and enforcement rules through formal ordinances.

DARBY, Montana — J Bar J's A String is better traveled than most people. They're just as at home a mile off of The Strip in Vegas as they are in the shadow of the Bitterroot.

This weekend, they'll try to crack the clouds bucking at the Dutton Ranch Darby Xtreme Ba****ck but today, they're ignoring the piles of rich alfalfa that was 'catered in' in favor of the rich, green grass of Bitterroot Valley.

UPDATE: Surgery successful and smooth.

Rocker Steiner is in great hands as he turns his future over to his surgical team today. It's serious. Any time your spinal cord is being impacted, it's serious.

God has held our favorite wild one in the palms of his hands for 22 years — he's not turning loose today.

A year ago, Rocker visited this young trooper in the hospital where he battled a life threatening condition. He made a steep $$ donation on that day however it was his contribution of time, encouragement and love little ginger Spider-Man thrived on.

Recently, Little Man's dad reached out to us to say his boy now has a clean bill of health and will love Rocker forever.

Today, Spidey folds his hands and prays for Rocker, his surgeons and his family who holds their breath right now.

We do, too.
