Such a great class today in the new series "Eating Smart and Moving More" taught by Heather from the MU Extension in Warren County This round is FULL but you can join the wait list for the next class series by calling the Extension Center directly at 636-456-3444. Today was a tasty Easy Fruit Salad!

This morning, our agency coordinated with the City of Truesdale and the National Weather Service in St. Louis regarding activation of the MaryLou Center for tomorrow’s severe weather threat. In response to the forecast risk, the MaryLou Center will open as a tornado shelter at 2 PM on April 27th and remain available throughout the afternoon for those needing a place to shelter during severe weather.

The MaryLou Center is located at 825 Market St, Truesdale, MO 63380. Pets are not allowed.

Lastly, we strongly encourage everyone to stay weather aware tomorrow. For those on the north side of Warrenton, make sure you allow extra travel time due to the bridge closure.

WCEMA will provide an updated forecast briefing tomorrow morning.

In the Lower Level of the County Administration Building on South Hwy 47 across from Compass Health and Pitman Funeral Home. M-F 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Stay Healthy Stay Strong - 2 different levels of classes for seniors (any ability can particiapte- will customize if needed) Level 1 Mon & Wed. 9-10 a.m. and Level 2 Tuesdays & Fridays. Start the week of April 13th! Can join anytime- but this is an 18 session class.

Tai Chi for Fall Prevention - Tuesdays & Fridays starting April 28th 10:00 a.m. this is an excellent class that is fun, safe and effective to improve balance, strength, posture, cardio health and more

Eating Smart & Moving More - cooking class with quick easy meals, learn to save $ & time, try new recipes and optional walking indoors prior to class 12:30 p.m. and class starts at 1-2:30 Wednesdays- starting April 29th. See flyer for dates and details.
