From Walpole Little League to the Division 1 State Championship! ⚾🏆

Former WLL standouts Kyle Bongette and Jacoby Hogencamp, now juniors at Catholic Memorial, will take the field in the MIAA Division 1 State Championship.

These two teammates began their baseball journey together in Walpole Little League. Today, Kyle wears #27 and has developed into a standout shortstop, while Jacoby, now #17, has made the transition from catcher to pitcher for the Knights.
Regardless of the outcome of the championship game, these young men are a tremendous example of what dedication, hard work, and a love for the game can accomplish. Their journey is a reminder to every current WLL player that the memories, friendships, and lessons learned on our fields can last a lifetime.

Good luck, Kyle and Jacoby! The entire Walpole Little League community is proud of you both. 💙🧡⚾

🔥 PLAYER SPOTLIGHT BROUGHT TO YOU BY: RITA’S of WALPOLE🔥

Rita’s is a popular frozen dessert brand specializing in Italian Ice, frozen custard, and other refreshing treats. It’s the season. It’s hot. Don’t be a fool, go to Rita’s on Main St for a cool, smooth, delightfully happy treat!

Today’s Player Spotlight goes to: Cam Hassler. In Cam’s first year playing baseball he was a coaches dream. He worked hard every day, was extremely coachable and his growth and progress was undeniable. Cam saved his best game of the season for the championship going 1 for 2 at the plate with 2 big RBIs. We also have a clip of his huge catch in the 5th inning to end a big rally by the Blue Jays. I attached a clip because not only was it a great catch, it was another great ‘Little League Moment’ down West St as you watch his teammates rally around him and celebrate. Congrats on a great first season, Cam. We’re happy to see you playing Summer Ball as well!

🏆🥇Marlins Are Your 2026 Minor League Champions🥇🏆

It was a hard fought Championship Game as the Marlins overtake the Blue Jays 13-8 after going up 5-1 to end the 1st inning and never looking back. We caught up with the Marlins Coaches Post-Game…

Head Coach Brian Murphy: “This was the most successful season from start to finish I’ve seen as a Coach. My life is amazing. I’ve climbed Mt Everest, wrestled an alligator, and even saved a man’s life - But coaching the Marlins in this championship game is far and away my greatest life’s accomplishment.”

Coach Nick Clifford: “How am I supposed to coach the Major League Orioles after this game? I have witnessed the pinnacle of baseball, how do I walk on the field again? I’m considering stepping down immediately. Stay tuned”

Coach Pat Harris: “Man, I’ve never been that locked in during a game. I somehow ended up watching on LiveBarn on my phone and it was so good, I forgot all I had to do was look up and watch it live!”

Coach Jay Leonard: “My son was literally born hours ago, but this game was so special, I forgot it even happened or that my wife was still in the hospital. I was just so caught up in the action!”

The Orioles have secured a top spot for the playoffs. A successful season is always a credit to everyone on the team contributing and Kellan Brennan is one of those players. I’m impressed he’s had time to make it to the field in between his coffee runs to Dunkin, gathering eggs for breakfast from his chickens, and apparently taking care of a dragon. Yea, a dragon.
