Patriot Flag Community Update: Spring 2026 and Beyond
Hi PFF Families,
While this is not the email we hoped to send, we are writing to let you all know that we will not be holding a Spring 2026 Flag Football season.
Field Permitting, and PFF's prioritization with respect to other organizations, has continued to become a bigger challenge with each incoming season. In discussions with the Walpole Recreation Department over the last four years, due to our for-profit status, we have been bounced around to different categories of prioritization when it comes to field rental space in Walpole. Despite our best efforts to come to an understanding of transitioning into a non-profit, volunteer-based organization, we were informed that despite our size, popularity, and involvement in the community, we will never be recognized as a Walpole Youth Sports Organization under the new Walpole Field Policy Guidelines. Because of this, it would be irresponsible of us to open up registration, charge registration fees, and ultimately let down our parents, grandparents, coaches, referees, and most of all our kids.
Please check out the homepage of our website (www.patriotflagfootball.com) for more detail about how Patriot Flag Football came to exist, our journey through eight successful seasons, fifteen weeks of camps, and everything in between. Included are the accomplishments we are most proud of, and the impact we have had on the children, athletes, families, youth organizations, and communities within the area. Take the time to walk down memory lane with us and celebrate all of the wins, both on and off the field.
At our inception, we crafted our vision and mission statements copied below, and we are proud to say that we accomplished this and then some.
Thank you all for your continued support as we grew our small business from just an idea to an incredibly impactful community organization.
We will be in touch when we can with our plans for the future.
