Lets go, Grant!

Grant Nelson will compete in the State Finals in the 800 Meter Run tonight at 6:55 PM at St. Michael Albertville High School.

Yesterday, Grant advanced to the Finals by winning his heat with a Personal Record time of 1:57.11, the second fastest time in Class A, behind Tate Goergen of GMLOKS who set a State Class A Record of 1:50.72!

Best of Luck to Grant as he competes in his sixth and final State Tournament in his career at WDC. A 2026 Triple A Award State Finalist, Grant will head to Concordia College next year in Moorhead to continue his Track and Cross Country Careers. He plans to study Biology and Biomechanics on his way to a Pre-Med degree!
