🚨 Stronger Protections Against Organized Retail Crime 🚨

Thank you to Representative David Faulkner and Senator Andrew Jones for their leadership and support of Act 2026-515.

This important legislation strengthens Alabama’s fight against Organized Retail Crime and establishes tougher penalties for those who endanger lives and property. The law creates a first-degree arson offense and imposes a mandatory minimum 20-year sentence for criminals who intentionally set fires or cause explosions resulting in at least $25,000 in damages.

We appreciate their commitment to protecting businesses, employees, customers, and communities across Alabama.
