His early racing career began while working for Star Motor Sports and the #51 driven by Brian Hoppe in the NASCAR Midwest Touring Series. He held many positions over the years but began as the team’s jack man. From there he went on to become the team spotter and handled sponsorship and marke

ting for the #51. After a brief time away from the sport, John embarked on his own racing journey in the summer of 2007 racing in the Bandit Series at Jefferson Speedway in Cambridge, WI. He spent the next five years racing the at various tracks in WI and IL. In 2013 he decided to make the jump to the Late Model Series where he was named Rookie of the Year at Columbus 151 Speedway. 2014 Brought John the Rookie of the Year award in the Midwest Truck Series & in 2015 John won Rookie of the Year @ Madison International Speedway in the Late Model Series. 2016 was another successful year @ Madison International Speedway bringing 3 feature wins in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Late Model Series. 2017 was John's first year in a Super Late Model bringing home Rookie of the Year award in the Tundra Super Late Model Series. In 2018 John ran the Tundra Super Late Model Series again finishing 2nd in championship points to his teammate. 2019 brought John Beale 2 championships in the Wisconsin Challenge Series & All-Star Triple Crown Series along with 5 Super Late Model feature wins. In 2020 John Beale gained two more super late model championships by winning the Central Wisconsin Racing Association (CWRA) & Marshfield Motor Speedway track championship along with 4 feature wins.

North to South: The Fall 2026 Run
From Michigan, Minnesota & Wisconsin all the way to Texas. From circle tracks to road courses — Gildan Racing is ending the 2026 season in style.
In 2004, Brian Hoppe won the NASCAR 300 at Brainerd International Raceway in Minnesota. Now, 22 years later, we return to Brainerd to prepare for our trip to Circuit of The Americas near Austin, Texas.
Also on the docket: Road America, the 4-mile, 14-turn road racing circuit in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Road America is known for its high speeds, elevation changes, and 640-acre facility.
Then it's showtime — heading to Circuit of the Americas (COTA), a premier 1,500-acre motorsports and entertainment complex that is home to the United States Grand Prix F1 race. A 133-foot climb up to its signature Turn 1 and a 3.41-mile, 20-turn circuit will put John and Dalton's road racing abilities to the test.
If that wasn't enough, the circle track season will also come to an epic ending: Norway Speedway for the season-ending Island Resort & Casino 100, Marshfield Motor Speedway for the TUNDRA Super Late Models — where John & Dalton are leading the championship battle by 17 points — and Oktoberfest Race Weekend for 5 days of on-track action.

A historic Friday night for Gildan Racing — John Beale is officially a Stateline Challenge Champion.
Joining past winners like Dalton Zehr, Dick Trickle, and Matt Kenseth in the record books is no small feat. The event featured 119 laps split across three features, and John dominated — winning features one and two, then finishing second in feature three to lock up the overall title.
It was a true team effort putting two cars on track that night, with Dalton Zehr capping off a strong run of his own — finishing second overall and right on John's bumper in every segment.

John Beale (5b) doubles up, taking the win in Feature #2 at Norway Speedway with Dalton Zehr (119) once again right behind him in 2nd! That's back-to-back feature wins for John tonight in the Stateline Challenge.

With the Coleman 119 point system in play, lowest overall points across all three features takes home the night — and Gildan Racing is sitting pretty heading into the final feature. One more to go!
