NEW Bowhunting Opportunity – Wisconsin DNR Approved Pilot Program 🦌🏹
Raise at Full Draw (RAFD) has been approved and endorsed by the Wisconsin DNR to pilot a new “Field to Fork Bowhunting Pilot Program.” One of the first programs is being planned for Dane County, with a start date in late May/early June.
Program overview:
• Bowhunting equipment provided through a lease program
• Summer shooting instruction and weekly practice
• Fall bowhunting skills days
• Mentored support during a participant’s first bow season
(Mentors do not hunt with participants but serve as a resource and support)
⏱️ Commitment is just a few hours per week at local archery locations.
Who it’s for:
• Adults 21 years and older (18+ considered)
• Individuals who have never harvested a deer
• Space is very limited to allow for individualized instruction

We are looking for:
🧑‍🏫 Volunteer Assistants willing to share bowhunting knowledge, teach portions of the program, and support mentors during the fall season
🧑‍🌾 Participants interested in learning ethical, safe, and successful bowhunting from the ground up
All volunteers and mentors will be supported and led by RAFD.
📅 Program start: June 1
📣 Participant recruiting begins: March

Our annual Toys for Tots shoot is coming up on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 / 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
Put a smile on a child's face this Holiday season!

Donate a new unwrapped toy and get a free bowl of chili for your toy donation
$15 Registration ($10 Under 16)

Part of all registration fees will go to Toys for Tots along with all the gifts!
We will be shooting an indoor 5 Spot 300 round.
