2026 Cooper Cup Concludes
Do not let the score give you a false impression. Day 1 was the longest in Cooper Cup history to be played. Almost 7 hours. Nearly 2hrs longer than some in the past. Majority of the matches decided by 1 or 2 racks.
What started as a 6-4 loss to Quantum Break in the 1st set after being up 4-2., ended up as their only loss of the event.
In an unprecedented 7 straight wins for a 4th Banner and 3Peat as a Captain. Natural Bourn Killers, Kevin Bourn, cashed in with his team. Tim Hurley (back to back winner) , Pete Brown (also voted as the Cooper Family 2026 Cooper Cup MVP), Paulo Faria (back to back winner) , Joe Motyka, Kenny Hoke (back to back winner) .
Along with the wins, a crazy stat, NBK had also won every single lag.
In the end, it may not be wise to bet against Natural Bourn Killers or anyone on the team.
Quantum Break Captain Dan Uc***lo is already gearing up for next year. There is no word quit in his dictionary. And we know he'll be back to hoist his banner. The team of Rob Slota, Rogers Hill, David Sheehan, Jason Fonseca, Jordan Palacio didn't hold back. They played smart shots, playing their game, and key defenses. There's a reason why they get drafted. At this level it's a little roll here and an accidental scratch there that can have the biggest impacts to sway the games.
This event needs more than just players to run. It needs:
