Our studio offers classes, special events, & private appointments in Yoga, Ayurveda, Reiki, Coaching for Women, Recovery, Holistic Health Counseling, plus more! The Vergennes Movement wellness collective is a group of wellness practitioners collaborating within a single space to offer classes, workshops, and private consultations and lessons. Cost: Suggested donation of $25.
Audience: Anyone experiencing grief from the loss of a loved one. This could be a loss due to death, whether recent or not. Or, it might be what is called "ambiguous loss", the loss of a loved one due to circumstances that render the person so changed that you lose who they once were. This could be due to illness such as Alzheimers, ALS, paralysis, or mental illness.

We live in a culture that does not "like" grief; we are not supposed to "hold onto" our sadness for too long. Grief shows up even when we don't expect it. It may feel like malaise or lack of energy or depression. In a safe setting, we can share our stories and move our bodies in ways that support both the release and healing of our grief. In the support of a circle, we can uncover the joy and love that surrounds and sustains us.

Cost: $25-$40 pay-what-you-can per person.
Audience: Teens and adults of all ages welcome!

No dance shoes, choreography, or composure needed! We will gather in circle with grounding intention-setting, flow into a yoga warm-up for body and mind, then begin our one hour ecstatic dance wave. The experience will conclude with a relaxing and rejuvenating savasana.

Attune to the wisdom of your body, a vehicle for deeper connection to body-mind-spirit. Through embodiment of yoga practices and free form dance, we shall move, release, and restore in community, clearing pathways to our hearts, our healing, and the collective.
