Champlain Valley Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Self-Defense Academy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Self-Defense School Instructor Jason Ouellette, is a 3rd-degree black belt in BJJ. Carlson Gracie Sr.

Jason has trained and instructed in BJJ for over fifteen years under Professor Julio Fernandez owner of the BJJ Revolution Team and VT BJJ. Jason BJJ lineage is Julio Fernandez who trained under Carlson Gracie Sr. who was taught by his father Carlos Gracie. Carlos Gracie and his brother Helio Gracie were the founders of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Besides teaching and instructing BJJ, Jason has trained i

n numerous other martial art styles- Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Muay Thai, Western-Style Boxing, and American-Style Wrestling. Jason also has over fourteen years of law enforcement experience and is a use of force instructor who has trained police officers in defensive tactics and verbal de-escalation techniques.
